When compared to diesel, LNG is a cleaner burning fuel source. LNG produces better emission quality when burned, making it an environmentally sound fuel source. In the rare event of a spill, LNG is non-toxic and will evaporate into gas. If diesel is spilled it can easily contaminate soil and waterways.
